This Educational Auto Rate Tutorial is designed to assist you in learning more about shopping for auto insurance and illustrating the range of rates available.

Because there are varying factors that affect what you pay for your insurance, it is NOT possible to show a rate for every situation. We have instead chosen four examples to represent various insurance purchasers and provided a rate for each example in the territories listed as of March 31, 2008.

HOW TO USE THE RATE TUTORIAL

1. Select a profile

The tutorial provides you with four profiles. While the profiles may not match your situation exactly, choose the one that most closely resembles your own situation.

2. Select a city

Choose the city nearest to where you live and operate your automobile.

3. Select an insurance company (or companies)

Finally, choose the insurance company or companies from which you want to view and/or compare auto insurance rates.

4. Click "Submit"
